yeah i'm not trying to take anything away from them, i just hate living in the region. i'd probably hate most other places too, but i'm deeply familiar with the way it sucks here and if Eisenhower wasn't dead i'd kill him.

nah i'm from the midwest, activism isn't strong enough to un-shit the place. we need a fuckload of civic political power to bring back street cars and shit to do that.
a big problem with indy specifically is that the state government undermines the fuck out of anything even remotely good the city tries to do, like dedicated bus lanes.
parts of madison and milwaukee are based, the rest of the state is white liberal to barely concealed nazism.
