Yes and as part of the statement you mention that they're cat-like. I'm trying to change your mind about that part of the statement, implying that I can't change your mind about the real statement, implying that I agree with you. Have a sense of humor my guy.

Some might say that this comic, despite featuring one, is not the goat.

I don't see any ears, therefor I don't think they're cat-like, I just think they're drawn in a specific style.

You didn't say which part to try to change your mind about.

I have YouTube bookmarked to go directly to subscriptions and I have revanced configured to open directly to subscriptions. I've still seen trending as a tab in the sidebar on the website, and accidentally tapped on it back before vanced existed.

All of that said, I did just check and it's way more difficult to find now. It's near the bottom of the sidebar in browser, and iirc it used to have its own frustratingly dedicated tab in the mobile app, which it no longer does.

Figured I'd ask here as thought self-hosters would care most about looking after their photos.

Couldn't be more wrong in my case. I host immich so I don't have to worry about taking care of my photos. I hate taking care of my photos. I hate organizing them, and almost never go back to look at them anyways. Immich just yeets them onto my NAS and I can use visual search to sometimes find what I'm looking for with nearly zero effort from me.

All of that, to answer your question, I just throw them on Immich and they appear on the timeline in roughly the correct spot. I also will often share a link, asking friends and family to upload to my Immich server.

Reminder that Starlink (and T-Mobile via their home internet program) is bringing the modern internet to millions who couldn't get anything more than conventional sattelite or dial up internet, both of which are comparable in speed to getting in your car and driving to the library.

My point is that Starlink isn't just a stupid toy for rich people to put on their RVs, yachts, and now planes, it's many individual's only way to connect to the modern internet.

I hate Elon. I can't hate on Starlink and the connectivity it's provided to rural individuals with no other options. It's really unfortunate that his name is attached to the work of the engineers that made it possible.

Occasionally a video I like will get to trending and I'll question my taste in media.

Use browser plug-ins and revanced.

I'm not sure how you can be so invested in YouTube and not at least be aware of trending. Have I ever looked at it? Not intentionally. Am I aware of it? Yeah.

Host both. Keep plex up for your gma, Jellyfin for everyone else. Tbh Jellyfin is also pretty intuitive. Currently I'm hosting both, but my gma doesn't use it, so I'll probably move completely to Jellyfin.

Mine works about the same on Linux as it did on Windows. I paid for it so no need to pirate it. If I hadn't paid for it I probably would've started using something else.

The MCM arch holds the grinder handle in place which keeps it from flopping around, and keeps the grinder in the caddy. It's a really clean and easy solution for this unique problem.

I talk more about the caddy in this video if you're interested - Timestamped Link

On Friday a video will be out where I talk more about the final version (shown in the video attached to this post), but the function is quite similar, just with the correct measurements because measuring is hard...

I would be happy to share the STL, but I haven't yet as I figure not too many folks have the exact same aeropress setup as I do with the scale and grinder, and I'm lazy (but honest at least!)

I'm at a friend's house for the night and was invited to an among us group. Installed among us and discord, had everything working (after a restart) within 10 minutes. I was shocked that simply adding a keybind for mute/deafen just worked. Yet another "it's just a computer" moment. I'll have to get that discord overlay thing working at some point.

In addition, the mic seems to work pretty well without using headphones, though I can't hear myself obviously.

I wasn't considering upgrading to the OLED because I didn't use the device enough, but man, I might...

I'm moving over from boost for reddit, and am missing the quick reply functionality. Am I just missing it, is it actually missing, and is it planned?

Loving the app so far, it's made the transition easy.
