Agreed. I read the book right before watching the show. The show seemed to add a whole bunch of characters and filler arcs just to pad things out.

It's only spineless if he actually wants the files released but is crumbling under pressure. I suspect he doesn't want them released.
I was going to say it started with the Tea Party movement in the 2000s. The Republican party has been regressive for a long time but the tea party represented a firm shift toward populism.
Much of the battery's energy is recovered through regenerative braking. This means the main thing limiting range is drag. That's why EVs typically have much more emphasis on being aerodynamic and are more efficient in cities. An ICE car has all of the energy dumped into heat in the brakes. But that's ok because it's easy to just make the tank bigger. That's why ICE cars are more efficient on the highway where they never brake.
I doubt it's torque delivery. Rubber compound and alignment make a big difference in tire life. Since EVs are much more limited by inefficiencies, I would bet it came with harder tires and a straighter alignment.
My weather app uses that for weather data. I've found it more reliable than other people's apps.
As a fighting game fan, this one shows promise. The devs are the Cannon brothers. They are the guys that founded Evo, the biggest fighting game event. They also created and freely licensed rollback netcode, the gold standard for fighting game netcode. the core of the game will likely be excellent. The f2p model hasn't really been done at this level in fighting games. Most games are sold at full price and they sell costumes and characters as dlc. I'm hoping this game will get more people to try fighting games and hopefully it doesn't become a loot box simulator.
The single largest producer of micro plastics is car tires. The second largest is lint from synthetic clothing. I agree that it's probably green washing but it's still probably better than using leather.
Even if leather is a byproduct of meat production, it's not given away. It's sold. At best, leather is subsidizing the meat industry. Leather helps make animal suffering more profitable. Therefore it happens more.
Here's a more recent article. Apparently they are moving forward with installing cameras on a whopping 6 buses. Hopefully this program doesn't get killed off after the pilot phase.
There is a program meant to enforce that. Cameras will automatically ticket cars in bus or bike lanes. At first it's just cameras in a few dedicated cars patrolling a small area of the city. Supposedly they're also installing some cameras on a few buses. Idk why the slow rollout. This seems like such an easy win.
My old car's CEL was the interior ambient lighting. It was a dim warm tone and it was just an evap leak so I didn't want to fix it
