I don’t know if I’d take his word at face value. This reads like he’s talking to potential investors, not Reddit’s user base. Of course he’d want to assure them that everything is okay and they should still give him money.

I haven't thought about guild wars 2 for years, but I remember buying it a long time ago because it was available on Mac, but it seems like that's not the case anymore? And now it's free to play now, I guess? It definitely feels like I wasted my money. Good game though lol

I have a little time-triggered recording of a nice voice telling me to wind down and another nice voice in the morning telling me to get up and take a shower. I'm surprised how much it's been helping me out. Prior to doing this, I'd regularly either go to sleep at 4 am or not at all (then crashing sometime around noon the next day). Alarms were only annoying and I'd very easily turn them off.

That being said, I also don't have to deal with normal business routines since I make my own schedule. If you are able, I'd highly recommend finding yourself in a situation like that.

Also, the vibe of a social network named after petty and trivial quarrels seems to be not for me.

See, with undertale, the first thing I saw on it was "don't look at anything undertale related AT ALL until you completely finish the game". That made the experience way better for me. I likely would've given up if not for that since the community got a bit wild and that carrot-on-a-string of "something interesting is going to happen that people are trying to prevent spoilers for"

The pokemon fan games have been way more inventive than the mainline games for a while now. I just recently have been getting into pokemon infinite fusion and it's FANTASTIC

I agree fully with ocarina of time. I had a N64 back in the day, but I never owned OOT because my parents said "it was too expensive"... so I never got that nostalgia factor after playing it years later.

I would say, in regards to really good zelda games, I absolutely loved Link between Worlds. It's mostly the same map as link to the past, but the main gameplay gimmick of sticking yourself on a wall or moving through a crack was really fun for me. I really like feeling that "aha" moment when trying to figure out if an area is inaccessible or if I just need to think about how to get there a bit more, then finally realizing what I needed to do. Super satisfying. YMMV, of course, but it's worth a shot.

Hmm whenever I switch my feeds to “all posts” I’m pretty sure I can see everything on Mlem. I’m honestly not sure what the issue could be that makes you not able to see everything since it’s all pretty new to me too.

Although, I would try to find some YouTube video with a nebula discount referral code. They’re everywhere. It’s cheap as it is, but getting a better deal is never a bad thing.

Any game that has daily login bonuses or a bonus for playing every day. Animal crossing pocket or whatever it is. Pokémon go. A bunch of afk phone games. A bunch of gacha games. It just feels so shallow to me. Like, I’m not being manipulated to play something, I just end up feeling so guilty to lose a streak I’d rather delete the game.
