Back in the good old days when carrier lock was still allowed. They flashed a Rom (Software) on the phone to lock you in. I don't know if they still do it this way, but a new ROM would get around that

I still just go for 100g/person. Altough the hole trick is nice if your out and about and done have a scale

 

The tip of my bed probe bltouch broke (new one underway, but the print must go) I glued on some filament. And it seems to just work fine again!
