Windows 10 has this same screen, just a bit different looking. You turn off this notification in the settings menu.

Go to Settings > System > Notifications. Turn off the last three check boxes. This screen won't come back.
I believe this method was blocked. But it's also not what the screen shot is. This is an update screen.
TBF, it was Fox News. They don't have journalists.
This comment should not be down voted. Even if you or I disagree with the person's politics. This should be the default in any court. I didn't read the article at first either just the comments. When I did read it, it seems very much click bait. They buried the lawyer's quote way down in the middle of the article and only one line. No follow up on the actual situation and harped some more on Qanon. I personally despise people who continue Qanon conspiracies, but the rest of us have to be better.
Good day to you fellow Sync user. I also concur.
Could be a dead CMOS battery, but if the computer had a case switch more likely it was a security feature that lets you know the case was opened. On Acer computers you would have to press F1 to continue the boot, or Del key to enter the BIOS and have the chance to change the setting. Incidentally the setting is usually under the Security tab> Open Chassis. You can reset the notification or turn it off.
I run into this situation on office computers all the time, because no one knows how to turn it off or reset it.
As a previous paramedic, this is not a new problem. I'm sure it's gotten worse in the last couple years though. Also this is a problem across Canada, not just in Ontario. I travelled between the two provinces often and spent more than a few hours standing in ER back hallways. I believe it stems from not having enough staff in hospitals to handle the intake of patients. The ICU's and floors get backed up, the ER then gets backed up and anyone coming in with an ambulance and able too, will wait in a hallway with the crew, because the hospital is not ready or willing to take medical care of that patient.
It was a tape then CD subscription. Except you initially got 10 or 15 albums for a penny or a dollar, I can't remember. But then you had to buy so many CDs over the next year or something. And the prices were stupid.

I do love TST!
I'm disappointed in you people. https://youtu.be/KTc3PsW5ghQ?feature=shared
