I think that any of HP's RPN calculators with the exception of the 12C is considered a collectible.

It's like the difference between using a beautiful damascus paring knife to cut an apple, and using a Swiss Army knife to do the same thing. The Swiss Army knife will do the job, but the paring knife will feel better cutting it up. There realistically isn't anything that the electronic organizers can do that a smartphone can't, but the organizer was designed from the ground up to do exactly what it does, and nothing else. There is a joy to using something that was crafted for a specific purpose. Just like I have a bunch of calculators on my phone, I still never leave the apartment without a real calculator. And I've never reached for my phone when I've needed a calculator except for in an emergency when I was too far away from my desk.

Absolutely allowed, and encouraged! I love that you took a picture of it next to a Safari, too! I was just asking you about the Traveler's Company Brass pen earlier today, and I am so happy that I'm not the only person in both communities.

That's gorgeous! Are there any converters that fit it?

That sucks that you've not had a good time with yours. Is it something with the nib, or is it the body of the pen that you don't like?

I have a Vac 700R, too. The TWSBI feels much more substantial than the V126, but it is also twice the price as well. I'd definitely recommend trying one out, though!

It does require much more regular cleaning than any of my other pens. I'm typically not much into the shimmer inks, but Heart of Gold is amazing!

That is yet another gorgeous calculator from your collection! I really need to set up an eBay alert for one, and somehow keep my wife from finding out that I'm adding a new calculator to my arsenal.

I've been using Platinum Carbon Black for a while, and absolutely love it. Bonus points for it being waterproof.

I have been drooling on these for years. It would take winning the lottery for me to justify spending $2000 USD on one, though.

I've been wanting to learn blacklettering and wondering if the Parallel was a decent pen for it. I think I'll need to pick one up!

Thank you for the info! That is a really cool project!
