What was underwhelming? Nothing much to see around from the top?

Those look SICK! How much did they set you back? And what lights do you have that run 26800 cells?

I really got my money's worth out of a Muji fountain pen, but now I've been sticking to my Diplomat Aero in Black Stripes with an EF nib. Love the combination of anodization and raw aluminum in the hand!

That is one classy nib. How's it write? Might keep an eye out for a restored one. . .

I still haven't bit the bullet on a stub nib; how do you like TWSBI's 1.1mm?

I originally bought into the hype for Moleskine, but their paper seemed very low quality when I tried writing on it in person at the Moleskine shop in NYC.

Muji notebooks came very highly recommended for their price to performance ratio, and they're the real deal. I much prefer spiral bound notebooks that lay flat like this one, but they also offer a different kind of paper I haven't tried yet.

Notes and flashcards for actuarial exams. Makes me actually excited to study even the dry topics when I have a new pen and new ink. I've stuck to Muji notebooks since they're so affordable and high quality.
