I think acting before the IDF is properly mired in Gaza would be a mistake, no matter how much it would help the case in Gaza itself, it's just strategically smarter I think to strike while the enemy is engaged rather than mustered and ready for a fight.
Seriously the western ideal is so cooked after this. There is no way to go back, all claims of genocide from our side will be rightfully laughed off.
