I'm very much onboard with this. Idk if I'd say it's the libraries job though, I think it should be at the city level for community instances.

It's been a thing for quite a while. I want to say about 10 years ago I was watching a bunch of off grid YouTube videos and more than a couple people turned their cars into short range EVs.

More recently I've seen a few videos from a professional shop in Cali that does it for classic cars, also you have Jerry Rig Everything converting a Humvee.

It's been a thing and will probably end up being more and more common

You aren't, it's a bit less than a tenth

Yes rates are used most of the time in forms of address. However you do have a rank, for example E-5 or Petty Officer Second Class. However when addressing enlisted you'd usually say something like CTM2, IT2 etc... Until you hit chief then you are just called Chief, or senior if you are a Senior Chief, Master Chief doesn't get abbreviated to Master for obvious reasons, and MCPON is usually referred to as "mic pon" phonetically for Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy.

Pikes Peak is a 14 thousand foot tall mountain in Colorado. It's one of the most iconic mountains of the US, and is sometimes referred to as Americas Mountain. However if you go north about 75 miles from pikes peak you are at Denver which usually makes simplified maps like this one, Pikes Peak is rarely noted on maps

I mean technically the federal reserve is a ponzi scheme they charge interest on money printed requiring more money to be paid back than they printed. Ergo there isn't enough print money in existence to pay them back.

So, veteran here. I've tried to talk people out of joining the military or at least trying to avoid jobs with high probability of seeing combat. Usually the result is they just start prying about what combat is like and make statements about how much they want to experience it.

Another tack I haven't tried but it might be more effective, is to describe how miserable it is to have the stench of a burn pit wafting over you, always wondering if the distant gunfire will move in your direction, being stuck manning a 24/7 watch where if even one person who can do that job dies or is otherwise incapacitated you will be stuck doing 12hr shifts instead of 8. Then you get back home and have to fight tooth and nail for benefits from the country that fucked your life up in the first place.

War is hell, coming home is hell, forcing that on someone can only be justified if they are literally at home fighting off an invading force.
