I mean, I know a few people who don't vote since from their perspective it makes no real difference who wins nationally, besides their vote would be insignificant, and locally just don't care so long as everything still works. And another who just has honey badger levels of IDGAF, like just ate a cabbage like an apple because he wondered what it was like. That kinda extends to everything peak zero fucks what happens happens. I don't think either of them are wrong exactly, they have no real pride in not voting just no skin in the game. I think that's true of most non-voters. Never met a proud non-voter. The closest would be a votes only for third parties on principle that the two party system is broken. Which at that point is still voting so idk

Monero is specifically designed to be resistant to GPU mining, and has a set inflation rate of ~2% with no cap. In other words it effectively is governed nearly identically to normal currency and anyone can participate reasonably.

Additionally, while the value has gone up, that's primarily thanks to it being used as a currency. It's the preferred crypto for black markets.

Unlike Bitcoin it processes transactions quickly and with low fees. There is no way to know who sent what amount to whom or how much anyone has of it. It is the closest thing there is to digital cash.

Why would marriage be an issue? It's convenient for purposes of healthcare coverage, hospital visitation rights, guarantees that without a will stating otherwise your spouse makes all decisions regarding the disposal of your corpse, and they automatically inherit any wealth you have, and if you have military benefits in many cases marriage is required to transfer those, or have them automatically transfer on death.

I'm not monogamous, neither is my spouse, but we are married because of all the above reasons. Marriage isn't about love and monogamy it's about financial and death planning

It's not legal in New housing, but removal from old housing isn't required. Though you can use it for other things like insulating kilns or furnaces.
