RemindMe bot is no longer functional following the API pricing change, and many Redditors are still unaware of this fact.

There are plenty of people who believe that. The date of AGI according to 700 people is 2033, so probably an AI that can code as well as humans will be ready a few years before that.

Why do you assume the AI of tomorrow is going to be the same LLM of today? I don't think AI is going to need supervising for much longer.

It's because people like you keep bringing it up and upvoting it.

According to Connor Leahy, companies are currently engaged in a race to be the first ones to achieve AGI, prioritizing speed over security, as mentioned in his video (source). I firmly believe that unless significant changes occur, we are headed towards extinction. We may succeed in creating a highly powerful AGI, but it might disregard our existence and eventually destroy us—not out of malicious intent, but simply because we would be in its way. In the same way humans don't consider ants when constructing a road.

This reminds me of the meme subreddit called r/Piracy. That was quick.

  • Movies / Shows. Self-hosted automated Jellyfin media streaming stack
  • eBooks. Calibre
  • pictures. Hydrus Network

I hate Calibre and Hydrus because they make copies of files instead of keeping track of them wherever I want them to be.

  • porn. Stashapp

I haven't been able to share much on torrent because I run into memory issues but on those programs I've been able to share a lot, specially in nicotine+ I've been able to share all 160 TB with it being as lightweight as ever. And of course I feel safer sharing without a VPN on there since I've never heard anyone complain about legal issues.

This community needs new mods. The current one hasn't posted in 9 days.

I would recommend considering Fopnu, Soulseek, ed2k, and DC++ as alternatives for sharing. It's only opening the program, choosing the folders to seed and that's it.

There could be a community in which people just paste all magnets to the torrents they download so we can see what's popular.
