I hope you're right.

I suspect that Don. Jr. would be the next republican front runner if Trump doesn't live until, or cannot run in 2028.

The design of the graph aside, I would really like it to include something for public transit. A train may take 1 kWh to travel 1 Km but if that train is carrying 150 - 450 passengers how much more efficient is it than an electric car? What about a bus, light rail, or subway?

She also might be trying to place herself as a contender for the 2028 election. If Trump wins and doesn't completely up end the two term limit then in 2028 the Republican party will need a new presidential candidate. If he loses he may not live to see the 2028 election and it's the same thing. She's only doing what every sycophant and nonconformist has done throughout human history, planning ahead for when the king dies.

The rules for rulers

My reply is totally unrelated to this thread. You seem to be very amped up about this. Reading your comments in this thread you really have a strong opinion on the USA, which is not your country. Which means you have as much influence in it as I do, basically none. My question/point, do you know why you're so amped up about this?

I wouldn't count them out quite yet. Thomas Bangaltar and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo are still producing stuff each on their own. Sometimes they even collaborate on the same project. I don't think there will be another Daft Punk album or song but I suspect their hands are going to be on a lot of work.

The only reason I don't completely despise Windows is because it, along with Mac OS, has made computing available for the masses. The average person doesn't have the time to learn how to use a computer. They just want to use it. That in my subjective opinion is a good thing. A very strong, and valid argument could be made that it's a faustian bargain, probably because it is.

I just got one and deciding to get one is very situational. I'll sit outside with my dog for hours and I can't bring my desktop outside. For me it's been great. I wouldn't recommend one to someone unless they know when they'll use it.

I thought I'd use it commuting too, but I don't. It's just a little too awkward to bring on my commute.

Coloured electrical tape, way cheaper than wire labels if you only have a few to mark.

Pearson's must have one hell of a contract with educators cause that shit hasn't improved at all in 20 years. One prof we had for multiple courses rallied against it. They eventually gave up and just carried over the grades to the gradebook. It's remarkable how quickly teaching in academia can knock a person down.

There is absolutely a food safety reason to replace a sponge. Most bacteria don't just die when they're in dry nutrient poor environments. They desiccate themselves into a spore form. Those spores can stay like that for very long periods of time until their environment becomes more wet. Then they can continue their lifecycle until they dry out again. Dry doesn't mean sterile.
