I just watched the episode recently! My friend and I were wondering if the whole idea for the story came from the word play lol

Keiko is getting possessed again, just in time for parent-teacher conferences!

It's funny Weyoun is Gluttony, when Vorta barely even have a sense of taste. 6 really must have been defective

I have definitely used my difficulty starting tasks to help myself lose weight. I find its way easier to just be hungry than to make food. Most of the time.

I still have to make sure I'm not eating snacks without thinking about it. A good option for me has been keeping easy, small, healthy foods, that can get me through hunger pang. My favorite is a pot of Greek yogurt. They're like 80¢ at Aldi where I live. Fresh fruit works great as well! And for late night treats, I eat frozen fruit. It fills the ice cream niche, without being packed with calories and extra sugar

So much so that they tried to use it as legal precedent in Una's augment's rights case in SNW

If Combs had played the character in Picard with all the holograms of himself, it would have been a different show

Say what you will about Tuvix, but Janeway was not guilty of Sloth. I'm pretty sure she retook the ship single-handedly, multiple times

The follow-up episode when she comes back is also great imo. I love Odo's speech about her. Too bad there was that Jake plot at the same time lol

It was Tuvix's mortality that was the problem

Unless you're on the Cerritos

Corpse Reviver No.2 (infosec.pub)

The ultimate brunch cocktail.

Equal parts gin, orange liqueur, Lillet Blanc, and lemon juice, shaken and served in an absinthe rinsed coupe.

I think this drink alone is enough reason to keep Lillet on hand. American Fifth is my local distillery; I highly recommend their spirits if you get the chance, but any absinthe will do here.

Mostly wanted to post because I feel like I did a really good job on the sugared rim lol

This is one of my favorite cocktails

1.5oz brandy .75oz orange liqueur .75oz lemon juice

Shake, double strain, serve in a glass with a sugared rim, and garnish with a orange twist. I expressed mine.

Maybe a little too meta, but I think we could use Dukat for memes specifically meant to express funny, but bad, opinions

It's been a while, but I got some new glassware, and wanted to try it out. I felt like a Nuclear Daquiri was appropriate for leaded crystal. I tweaked the recipe a bit to my own tastes, I'll denote that below

  • 1oz Overproof White Rum - Wray and Nephew
  • .5oz White Rum - Plantation 3 Star (omit for basic recipe)
  • .66oz Galliano (Green Chartreuse for basic recipe)
  • .75oz Lime Juice
  • .33oz Falernum

Shake and double strain, garnish however you like

Sidewinder's Fang (infosec.pub)

I've got a garnish this time!

  • 1.5oz Blended black rum - Plantation OFTD
  • 1.5oz Aged rum - Plantation 5 Year
  • 1.5oz Orange juice
  • 1.5oz Lime juice
  • 1.5oz Passionfruit syrup
  • 3oz Club soda to top

Shake with ice and strain into a glass with more ice. Top with club soda. Garnish with a mint sprig and a sidewinder

I always like to do a cocktail for releases of things I'm excited for. This is based on Greg from How to Drink's recipe, but with a few tweaks

  • 1.5oz Wray and Nephew
  • 1.5oz Plantation 5 Year
  • .75oz Blue curacao
  • .75oz Mint syrup
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Club soda to top

Shake and strain, serve over crushed ice. Top with club soda, and more crushed ice. Garnish with a lemon twist.

I used the Wray and Nephew and the mint, because Romulan Ale is supposed to smell extremely strongly, and those ingredients definitely do. It's kind of like a funky Mojito. I like it a lot

Seems like posting might be possible now, so here's my drink from last night! I wanted something refreshing, but still complex.

  • 1oz Aged rum - Plantation 5 Year
  • .5oz Jamaican rum - Wray and Nephew
  • .5oz Dark rum - Plantation OFTD
  • .5oz Lime juice
  • .3oz Rich simple syrup
  • .5 barspoons Falernum
  • .5 barspoons Grenadine
  • 2 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters

Blend with ice, serve in a Collins glass, and top with more ice. Garnish with two maraschino cherries, and a mint sprig (which I ran out of)
