Admitting that there's a good chance that Trump will simply ignore the rulings against him isn't discouraging, it's radicalizing.
That's not what the above commentor was doing though. They were criticizing the judge for doing their job. That's also known as "Obeying in advance." Just because they'll break the law doesn't mean it's not important to uphold the structure.
I was into the Lego Star Wars sets in a major way when I was a kid. It's fun building things that you already think are cool. Then, afterward, it allows you to more easily build your own stuff in that style, because you have more specialized parts
Glad to know it's not just me. I love his books, but I've bounced off of the show twice now
Funny how he doesn't have examples for the positive part
They already didn't have enough inspectors to keep up before this
I saw that post too! Lol
He concluded with,
“I feel like we are nearing the end of times. We humans are losing faith in ourselves.”
He's talking about technology replacing artists.
He's a great piece someone wrote about the modern situation, in this context, which included a video of the conversation
I'm not a podcast guy. That's a certified Dad Fact™️ lol
"Every morning, not in recent days, I see my friend who has a disability. It's so hard for him just to do a high five; his arm with stiff muscle can't reach out to my hand. Now, thinking of him, I can't watch this stuff and find it interesting. Whoever creates this stuff has no idea what pain is.
I am utterly disgusted. If you really want to make creepy stuff, you can go ahead and do it, but I would never wish to incorporate this technology into my work at all. I strongly feel that this is an insult to life itself."
What he's talking (imo) about is how the images produced by the technology aren't art, because they don't comprehend the human pain that would inspire true art. They're just creepy stuff
They must have been really derivative
