I pretty much have to have some form of Meta account or else I'm considered "shady" by some people. I haven't even logged in in years, but just saying the username is appaeently enough.

Is there any way for Liftoff to allow you to comment on instances that aren't your home instance? Last time I tried it it asked me to log into the instance I wanted to comment on.

Lemmy is also pretry similar to old.reddit. No recommendation or anything so its an easy migration.
I have only used Twitter and Mastodon sporadically, but its definitely more of a pain to discover communities since its more user oriented
