Wired CarPlay issues? (alien.top)
 

Currently running iOS 17.1.1 on an iPhone 15 Pro, on wired CarPlay in my 2018 Chevrolet Colorado. When I plug my phone in, and start interacting with CarPlay within a few seconds, it’s like my pickup drops the connection with CarPlay, and disconnects. I can unplug and re plug, and that gets me a few seconds of interaction before it disconnects again. This morning, after I restarted my phone, my pickup just wouldn’t recognize that anything was plugged in to begin with. This an iOS bug or something else, just me?

The widget screen NEEDS third party apps! It’s completely useless to me right now, if it had sports I’d love it. Aside from having to relearn how to bring up control center I’m largely happy with it.

Could Apple made a Watchface that exclusively shows sport scores? in c/apple@hardware.watch
