I love how they said speaking in sync is like going to the zoo and hearing the lion roar.

Yup. Millions subscribe to MMOs and Game Pass. Live service games like Genshin Impact and Fate/Grand Order are incredibly popular. There are also games with crazy intrusive DRM like kernel level spyware and always online DRM that are still installed by millions. How can you look at these stats and not think people are fine with paying for temporary games? If the game is good enough, players don't care. Ubisoft's problem is their games aren't good enough.

Who could forget hit tracks like "Crimea River"?

If you liked this story you might like the South Korean film Burning (2018)

I worked for a small company that saw growth year after year. We'd have a staff Christmas party towards the end of the year where the boss would thank us for our work and give everyone a bonus of $500. One year the boss was super excited to tell us that we helped build up his company to the point that he would now be opening a new location. He told us this new location was a large investment for him to open and so he would not be giving us a bonus that year and there also would be wage freeze. Thanks for the hard work! Merry Christmas! He sold the company the next year for a few million and retired at 50. I quit after that.

Oh nice, just in time to watch PewDiePie play PUBG

There's definitely words only used by "tough guys" but I've never heard anyone call it a dialect. There are also words only used by anime characters. So if you learn Japanese through media, you're probably going to be told "you sound like a tough guy/anime protagonist" eventually. However, most native Japanese speakers believe that their language is very complex and will forgive foreigners for misspeaking.

Because of the concept of "passing". Identities are more than just who someone's parents are. They include the life they live and the experiences they have. Someone who looks white, lives white, and is perceived as white can very well have a Cherokee parent, but identifying as Cherokee is more like a technicality than a reality. Especially if they don't live on reserve, speak the language, or practice the customs.

Previously, hololive’s music efforts have centered around solo artists like Hoshimachi Suisei and Mori Calliope

So, from what I can tell anyways, it does seem like the original answer is what you're looking for. Each instance has a list of its own communities that you can see. You can also see a list of other instances that are federated to an instance by browsing to /instances (ex. https://lemmy.ca/instances shows all the instances lemmy.ca is federated with as well as which ones are blocked). As far as I know, there is no way to see a list of all communities from all federated instances. There are some external sites that seem to have these sorts of lists like https://lemmyverse.net/communities
