He's a pretentious asshole, who thinks he is better than everyone else.

Right, but there are people who are openly Nazis. I get that he's got an ego but he doesn't seem to have hateful views. I just find the amount of hate he attracts just for being a know it all seems way out of proportion.

I think this is it. The court documents were filed literally hours after his arrest. Others were sent to a special prison in Louisiana within 24 hours of arrest that apparently doesn't need to follow normal laws and then deported not long after that. The government has been arguing that after someone is transferred to the Louisiana prison, normal court procedures don't apply, causing people's lawyers to be unable to stop deportation in time. Once someone is deported, the government has been arguing they can't do anything about getting them back.

Just look at the hate filled messages in this thread. He shares his opinion on video games but people act like he spreads bigotry and prejudice. He doesn't want to sign a petition to regulate video games. He's allowed to have an opinion.

Pirate Software has a lot of haters because he acts like a know it all and gets into arguments with people. I'm sensing people are just downvoting this video because it's him and don't care that in it he says pricing games at $80+ is pure greed from corporate studios that will likely tank the games industry.

Taiwan and China are also listed as separate countries.

That's actually a pretty good return, but only helps people with cash lying around.

Exactly. A 25% return is amazing, but turning $1 into $1.25 isn't really that impressive. Turning $1,000,000 into $1,250,000 is. The two returns are the same but one made 25 cents and the other made 3x the yearly median income of a US citizen. "Buying the dip" only makes a difference if you're already filthy rich.

Just put your money into stocks! Buying 10 shares of Apple right now would cost $2,000 but once it bounces back to the price it was at before the dip you'd have $2,500! That's a profit of $500 in just a few years!

Ah, the Palworld effect. As a small indie dev makes more money, the probability a large company sues for IP infringment approaches 100%.

Clinton slashed government spending so much he was the last president to ever run a budget surplus. However, Clinton cut spending when US debt was 50% of US GDP and now debt is 120% of GDP. Even eliminating the entire military budget wouldn't bring a surplus today.

I just spent $4,000 CAD on mine and I'm glad I didn't wait any longer.
