The "Revolting Colonies".

There's definitely more diversity than what you saw on this show. They honestly have some of the best high flyers in the game.

Keep watching, and wait until you see Top Flight or Private Party.

The thing is, corporations are run by people. Sometimes it's a singular personality like Musk or Zuckerberg, sometimes it's a board, but every one of those decisions is made by one or more human beings.

A corporation is not a person, but don't deny the agency of the people that run it. They created the awful world we live in, and they did it with the explicit goal of taking from us.

HOOK IT INTO MY VEINS

Honestly, good. I wanted to see Ricky more on AEW TV, but if they weren't going to use him, and he doesn't want to be there, this is the next best move for everyone involved.

Now it's Fenix's turn.

I love the Young Bucks.

I'm not so sure about that, to be honest. While I agree that these regulations are unlikely to be enforced across the board, I can definitely see them being weaponized in some respects.

For example, my account is on blahaj.zone. Part of the core mission of this site is to create an LGBTQ+ friendly space. With transphobic sentiment on the rise in the UK government (and, indeed, around the world), I can easily see them using this law against blahaj.

It's why regulations should be tightly defined and have clear and simple methods of compliance, IMHO.

Your account isn't on Lemmy.zip, so you should be OK unless Lemmy.world takes similar action.

As for the core issue, that's the problem with poorly crafted regulations. They can create chilling effects that push smaller players out of a given space.

The problem is, they see white blood as "pure" and non-white blood as "tainted". It doesn't matter if your cousins are white-passing; in their eyes, they're still lesser beings because they share heritage with you.

It's a really fucking gross ideology.

So, are you looking for a good place to jump in to the current product, or are you looking to see some of the stuff you missed along the way?

If the latter, I heartily recommend you watch All In 2018. It's probably the most historically consequential wrestling show since the final WCW Monday Nitro, and the wrestling is really good too. I would also recommend the first three seasons of Lucha Underground, since it was a show with a really unique take on what wrestling could be, and so many of its stars (Prince Puma/Ricochet, Killshot/Swerve Strickland, Penta, etc) have gone on to become some of wrestling's top names. You can skip season 4; it was pretty clear the wheels were coming off at that point.

MJF is right. The idea that wrestlers and promotions have to pretend other promotions and the wrestlers in them don't exist is WWE bullshit. Especially when we're talking about someone like Cody, who is integrated so deeply into not just Dustin and MJF's history, but AEW's as a whole.
