Yep, u r correct I should have thought about it more, I hope they are still pushing more people away but are there any estimates for how many left Reddit so far I really would like to know.
Im28xwa
I really hate the UI of Google photos and much prefer their Gallery app
I doubt these protests will change Reddit management's mind on things, what did these protests change so far? AFAIK nothing, the best thing to do is to migrate to an alternative platform and delete your account and recommend the subscribers to do the same while keeping the subreddit private
Nothing will be as effective as deleting your account and migrating to an alternative platform.
I'm yet to see any good custom ROM for a tablet, it seems to me that there isn't much interest in tablets from custom ROM devs
I wish it used AMOLED instead
There are many modified/modded versions of the official client but I don't think they are "privacy hardened" in any way, they do offer a plethora of extra features though
For Android F-Droid not because it is my favorite but rather it's the only one I know of
VoidUI (not de googled) because:
- the main reason is so I can keep using my phone beyond the official SW support period, I would be stuck on A10 if I stayed with stock
- The phone started to feel a little bit slow after 2 years
- Unlocked some of the performance that was left on the table with more to be unlocked!
- No bloatware
The drawbacks:
- The camera experience is orders of magnitude worse
- Goodbye iris scanner :'(
- Goodbye S-Pen features
- Goodbye Samsung notes
- Goodbye to the much better split screen and floating window implementation
That's a pretty interesting thing to know! Thanks
Hmm I think I need to read more about Manifest v3 as it appears my knowledge of the topic is pretty limited to literally just "v3 will kill ad blockers", basing my understanding on a couple of comments and 2 news report videos is a bad thing to do, don't you agree
I'm too using Droid-ify
