I want Russia to fail miserably in Ukraine. But I also want Twitter, currently X, and Elon to bite the dust. What a tough choice.

Indeed. In my opinion, it's called lemmy.world but it's too US centric to have the .world domain.

Reddit made my anxiety flare, I was too addicted to it, and it was way too toxic.

Lemmy can do/be that too, thanks to tankies and shitty moderators, and toxic leftover users from Reddit who bring their toxicity here.

This will never be more than a below average Reddit clone.

The code of Lemmy/Kbin/Mbin can be improved, even by anyone. Can the code of Reddit be improved by anyone?

We are better off trying to change sites like Twitter and Reddit from within.

OK, then tell us how we can run for a CEO position of Twitter or Reddit, so we can change them from within. Otherwise, no, we can't.
