If it’s 3rd party it isn’t an AirTag, it is a tracker that is compatible with Apple’s FindMy network.
You need to contact the maker of that tracker and ask them for the updated firmware, that’s why they release developer previews of iOS. That’s all on that third party partner, not Apple.
