I'm inclined to agree with you. You're not a troll at all. Nu-Trek just doesn't capture the charm of the series. Some might say it's an evolution, I say it's slapping a modern action/drama template on the franchise. It's low effort TV.
But, SNW is still very enjoyable. I can't say that for Disco. I think it has to do with the fact that SNW is not based on overarching, fast-paced action-drama.
It was an incredibly dumb decision to reference a living person. This just shows what a crock of shit Disco is.

That's part of carbrain culture. Where I live, both options are equally fast because drive through is seldom used. And Germany is actually very carbrainy, but perhaps not completely lost yet.
It looks delicious and all (minus the natto, not my thing) but that's easily >1000 kcal and not exactly light.
The entire reason for doing things like this, is that everyone gets their own space for traveling. Cars have their space, bikes have their space and pedestrians have their space. In countries where this kind of city planning is a thing, people rely on their mode of transportation to get from a to b in time. If there's some dick blocking the bicycle lane, then it is more than an inconvenience.
If you must transport a pallet of bricks you do it on an actual truck with a bloody crane on it. This is just kiddy shit. I can't take you seriously if you drive a pallet of bricks around with that thing. Wtf. That's just inefficient work.
I'm not afraid of that at all. But if you draw shit tons of power from a crappy socket, things start to heat up real quick. Like getting really fucking hot, as in burn your house down hot.
Ich check das mit dem Rasen eh nicht. Wir haben auch etwas Rasen, einfach weil der was aushält wenn Kinder draußen toben. Aber wenn es trocken ist, dann lass ich den Scheiss halt braun werden. Der erholt sich eh, und wenn nicht, dann sähe ich ihn halt neu aus und warte auf Regen. Ansonsten haben wir viele insektenfreundliche Beete. Es wohnt auch ein Igel bei uns im Garten, weil er hier ordentlich was zu fressen findet. Warum braucht man einen quadratischen Garten, der nur aus Rasen besteht?
