A colleague of mine from Japan explained to me, that salmonella sit on the outside of the shell. When you crack the egg open, the salmonella can enter the egg white. By washing the eggs, you get rid of salmonella but make it more susceptible to other bacteria, which are usually less harmful.
Did you know the Japanese use a special machine to wash and check the eggs for structural integrity? That is why they eat raw eggs so much. It's very safe over there. Meanwhile in Germany, it is considered a good sign to have residual shit and feathers stuck to organic eggs. And this is where you start to deep dive into cultural differences between the continents.
Your initial post didn't suggest therapy and meds at all. It sounded way more condescending, as in "simply get your act together and start doing better". Therapy takes time and some people have it way worse than others.
Yeah, no shit. That is exactly why therapy and drugs are so important. I only recently got diagnosed and have started to work on these issues. I score on all but one of the mentioned "taxes". I'm 42 years old. Don't be an ass.
Please don't get me wrong. I'm sure you're a loving parent and just want what's best for your daughter. But what you're essentially doing, is giving your kid pocket money to go play slot machines at the local dive bar.
The reason why mobile phone gaming is so bad, is because there are barely any actual games. The reason your daughter thinks it's fun to play candy crush is not because the game itself is good, it's because the game makes her addicted to it. This is bad. Really bad. This will have consequences on how her brain handles dopamine. Please, for the love of your family, get her off that shit immediately.

Das Problem dabei ist, es ist wirklich eine dumme Idee. Das kostet nur Geld und bringt gar nichts. Also leichtes Spiel für die Drecksnazis.
Ich find es Scheisse, aber die offizielle Begründung ergibt für mich schon Sinn. Eine gewisse politische Neutralität sehe ich nicht unbedingt als was Schlechtes. Aber was der Fotzenfritz schon wieder für eine Boomerscheisse labert kotzt mich richtig an. Und das hat dann auch nichts mehr mit Neutralität zu tun.

Isn't it just the Post-Processing that makes the difference? I'm not a huge fan of a device deciding on how to develop a photo, I prefer to have more control over that. I guess it has its merits for a quick snapshot to instantly share with someone but that's not important to me.
Does anyone know of a good app to develop photos (similar to Adobe Lightroom but FOSS, like dark table on desktop)?
I filled in all the fields and it keeps telling me "Field required". I'll try it later when I'm at my desktop PC.
