I work in heavy machinery. We use tons of metal, like literally. We're still dominating the market with competitive prices and good technology. Building cars is amateur time in comparison.

Edit: the main portion of costs is personnel. We have a gigantic service network and they're expensive as fuck because Germany has a good union (IG Metall). Gas is absolutely of no concern to us at all.

I don't know man, I live in a somewhat rural area and just take my ebike to work when i have to. Most of the time i work from home though. I'd gladly see the German car industry die to make way for more efficient cars from Japan or France for example. German car manufacturers have completely forgotten where they came from and are just selling overpriced luxury cars that are unreliable as fuck.

Not sure what gas has to do with building cars, but ok...

I'm guessing Bill Cosby?

Schuko is the only one anyone would ever need. Those gigantic tumors from the island are horrible. And don't come with the fuse argument. A fuse belongs in the electrical cabinet and is the last failsafe. GFCIs are the ones protecting you l, the appliance and the house.

I once saw one in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. What a fucking shithole that was. I couldn't even walk anywhere from the hotel. There were no sidewalks. Fucking grocery bags from Walmart flying all over town, the ridiculous shit you have to go through just to buy a beer. No thanks, never again.

~~Shouldn't we learn something from the Brits? They basically outlawed knives, yet the problem with knife fights is getting worse.~~ Someone else in this thread kinda debunked my statement, so there's that!

Given Russia's massive hard-on for spy activities, there is a near 100% chance they have mapped it out completely.

It still doesn't matter, as the internet is Russia's best weapon by far. They're not going to change that anytime soon.

If they take out the internet, they lose their biggest manipulation tool. As if that'd ever happen...
