I think maybe I would mix some stain with linseed oil and apply another coat to darken it.

If you were set on paint then maybe try marine touchup paint?

I guess if you include my house in the price of the French cleat wall it's not so cheap.

Looks great, nice and clean!

Yes, I used my table saw.

However with a diy circular saw sled you could do this without too much fuss. Most circular saws I have seen allow the plate to be adjusted so the blade sits at an angle so that shouldnt be a problem.

I have broken down plywood into strips in similar fashion using that method.

Simple version https://www.wwgoa.com/article/shop-made-circular-saw-guide-cheap-easy-and-awesome/

If you have access to a router you can make a version that keeps you from straying https://www.woodmagazine.com/saws/shop-made-circ-saw-guide-cant-stray

When I cut down sheet goods with a circular saw I have a big 4x8 piece of foam insulation I lay on the ground and then set the plywood on to keep things well supported and keep the blade from hitting the ground.

I'm not OP but I use the discord bot and have good results. It is paid, but I think that is the only option now. I think it's like $80/year for the basic.

ESP8266 and a 2.4 inch touch screen. The button turns on and off the LED backlight on the screen.

Inside the base is a charging station that powers the weather display, 2x USB C and the galaxy 4 watch base.

The base is made of layers of plywood cut out on my laser cutter.

I was using adafruit hardware so used their guide/libraries https://learn.adafruit.com/wifi-weather-station-with-tft-display

I had to remove some of their touchscreen calibration code since it seemed to be causing things to get hung up in a loop when turned on.

I also had to adjust the rotation 180degrees so the ESP attached to the back of the screen was at the bottom instead of the top to fit it in the enclosure.

I use pin 5 to toggle the LED backlight.

Pretty simple pocket hole construction with poplar and edge banded birch plywood, painted black with an oil based paint.

I have never worked with caning before, and probably won't again. 😆. Getting it aligned and pulled tight was a chore.

Plans based off of the ones found here, and modified to my wife's requirements. https://www.thisoldhouse.com/house-one/22598580/how-to-build-a-console-cabinet
