To paraphrase Angus Young: "I'm tired of people saying that we put out 11 albums that are exactly the same. We've put out 12 albums that are exactly the same."

Although I think that was a while. I think they've released a few more versions of their first album since then.

Have AC/DC released a new version of their one song recently?

Neville Chamberlain has been reappraised by historians, based on later released evidence, who argue he made that decision in part based on expert military advise and political considerations.

They knew that war was almost inevitable, but appeasement gave them time to build domestic political and public support, and prepare for a while longer. For example, this arguably allowed them to gain air supremacy:

... the Royal Air Force had two major weapons systems in the works: better interceptors (Hurricanes and Spitfires) and especially radar. They promised to counter the German bombing offensive but were not yet ready and so appeasement was necessary to cause a delay. Specifically, regarding the fighters, the RAF warned the government in October 1938 that the German Luftwaffe bombers would probably get through: "the situation... will be definitely unsatisfactory throughout the next twelve months".

So this guy's worse than Chamberlain. He wants to engage in appeasement, reward a dictator for agression, help a Chinese and Iranian ally, without any real strategic benefit to the US.

Only the infidel religions.

This is probably just Set sexually assaulting Horus again, and Horus catching his semen and wiping it on some lettuce, which we all know is Set's favourite.* Things should calm down when they've settled it with a boat race, like they did last time.

Perfectly reasonable explanation. Not like these newer religions. Some of them claim to eat the flesh and drink the blood of their God, then sing songs about it. Or they're huge fans of cutting bits off boys' penises. Cannibalistic creeps and weirdos. Keep fighting with each other about their favourite demi-god. Why anyone takes them seriously is beyond me.

Not questioning your intentions, but that's a false dilemna. Common logical fallacy, often used rhetorical device.

Reality: the US doesn't have to choose between healthcare and military spending. The US spends more on healthcare per capita than any other high income country.

That means the US could spend less on healthcare, spend significantly more on defense, still have better healthcare than you do now AND save money doing so.

It's a bit like brexit. UK politicians found it useful to blame foreign governments and the EU, as it helped distract from domestic corruption and profiteering.

In fact Boris Johnson promised the UK £350 million a week for the healthcare system in the run-up to the brexit referendum, pushing a similar false dilemna. UK voters were told that they had to choose between EU membership or funding their healthcare system. Of couse, after brexit voters ended up with neither. It was a lie.

Surprisingly common rhetoric device. Eg. quite common when discussing the green transition and the economy/jobs. People are told by fossil fuel interest groups that they have to choose between saving the environment or saving the economy/jobs. In reality, the World Economic Forum suggest that the green transition would create millions of jobs, not cost jobs.

I used to occasionally listen to Rush Limbaugh and then occasionally watch Glenn Beck when he was on. This has been going on for decades now. Predates Fox News.

Hell, you can argue that all this stuff started with Father Charles McCoughlin in the 1930s:

Father Coughlin ... Dubbed "The Radio Priest" ... was one of the first political leaders to use radio to reach a mass audience. During the 1930s, when the U.S. population was about 120 million, an estimated 30 million listeners tuned to his weekly broadcasts. ... As his broadcasts became more political, he became increasingly popular. ... After making attacks on Jewish bankers, Coughlin began to use his radio program to broadcast antisemitic commentary. In the late 1930s, he supported some of the policies of Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. The broadcasts have been described as "a variation of the Fascist agenda applied to American culture". His chief topics were political and economic rather than religious, using the slogan "Social Justice". ... , Coughlin denied on various occasions that he was antisemitic, yet he received indirect funding from Nazi Germany during this period. A New York Times report from Berlin identified Coughlin as "the German hero in America for the moment" with his sympathetic statements towards Nazism as "a defensive front against Bolshevism".

Thing is, it's really entertaining, far more entertaining than nuanced news reporting.

"There are no easy solutions. The economy has grown by 0.4% and the president is taking fiscal measures to combat inflation, but some economists argue that blablablablabla....." Snore.

Switch to right wing media: "The deep state has a secret plan to turn little boys into women, this massacre was a fake and they've covering it up, they're going to turn the frogs gay, they're preparing death camps!"

Wow. That'll wake you up. It's like watching an exciting movie, but they say it's really happening, so it's even scarier. Maybe there's a grain of truth to it. Best keep watching to find out! And before you know it, down the rabbithole you go.

To be fair to Kevin Sorbo, he did tank Kevin Sorbo's career. So he's not all bad.
