Thank God they've prevented her running. Imagine if she'd won!

It would have caused rampant inflation, fundamentally undermined democracy, accelerated the timeline of the climate apocalypse, increased school shootings, made health insurance prohibitively expensive, made the US have a poorly performing healthcare system despite outspending other developed countries up to 4 times, caused rampant immigration, and cost tens of thousands of jobs.

Glad Ohio has it's priorities in order!

IRC they just released the latest chapter of sim settlements, so yeah. I'll probably return to FO4 in a year or two. Fallout London is also progressing, so that should be interesting. Thanks to content mods, you can largely skip the main quests of the original game.

It's become the new skyrim.

I think skyrim's golden age of modding is largely a thing of the past, but I haven't played it in a few years (500+ mods at the time), so please correct me if I'm wrong.

How would we know though?

He's an A-lister and he's represented by a big talent agency and production company.

They can quite easily squash stories, simply by refusing media access to other stars or productions on their roster.

Hell, for all we know he could be on Epstein's list. Or he could be secretly donating money to donkey sanctuaries. Who knows?

Perhaps this is an unpopular opinion, but I think cyberpunk would have been just as good with somone else playing Johnny. Let's be honest, it probably would have been better.

Keanu may be a great guy, although I assume we mainly think that because of his PR company, but he's not a particularly good actor. Film actors are also often worse at stuff like this than professional voice actors. It's not an uncommon complaint.

Not that I blame them, I assume they mainly hired him for marketing purposes, and he absolutely did help generate hype.

I suspect Kimbal Musk will be on the list and perhaps his more famous brother. I also expect the Musks to face no real consequences from it, because society is still fundamentally unfair and shit floats.

People clearly do care, that's why they manufacture drama. It helps drive engagement and views.

Of course, it's hard not to look down on people who develop parasocial relationships with youtube personalities.

But some people are very lonely. So if anything we should be critical of the youtuber who knowingly cultivate unhealthy fanbases and profit off their misery.

It's this guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bezalel_Smotrich

Right-wing lunatic.

TBF he was right on one thing:

In a 2015 interview Smotrich stated that "The Palestinian Authority is a burden, and Hamas is an asset", noting that, while the PA was harming Israel in international forums, Hamas' status as a terrorist organization meant that "no one will recognize it, no one will give it status at the [International Criminal Court], no one will let it put forth a resolution at the U.N. Security Council" ...

It's what Jesus would have wanted. Read the bible.

Someone should design a gun that allows you to easily terminate a pregnancy.

Already share a border - Finland/Baltics/Poland. But you are of course right. We're too decadent and complacent. Our politicians refuse to tell us the truth of how dire the situation is, even if top generals do.

Their losses have been heavy, but the Russian economy is now on a war setting, they're ramping up production of everything. If Ukraine falls, it's not impossible Putin'll try something stupid in the Baltics, especially if Trump wins the election or if there's chaos due to the election.

I mean, will NATO start a nuclear war over Russia invading a very small bit of the baltics? I have my doubts. Especially if there are plenty of populists in power, who refuse to join. Hungary, Turkey, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Italy... Not impossible that they say they'll put 'their people first' and refuse to join in defending the Baltics. Possible that Putin decides to make a gamble on this. Our militaries here in Europe are too weak to respond conventionally which makes him more likely to take that risk.

The man's always been a fan of the salami slicing tactic.
