The people running the show in Russia, are often the people who helped cause the catastrophic collapse of the USSR, along with all the suffering that caused.

I honestly don't get why people who go on about the ultra-rich and opposing capitalism, then support actual oligarch robber barons who's hobbies include raping underage girls, sitting on a whaleforeskin couch drinking overpriced champagne, and ruining countries from the safety of their goldplated super yaught.

According to some predictions, climate change will cause up to 3 billion refugees by the end of the century. The world isn't exactly the most stable right now either, in part due to the beginning effects of climate change.

Not that I necessarily agree with it, but coming to the conclusion that it's not necessarily moral to bring a child into that world or contribute to further suffering, isn't particularly insane or inhumane.

It's not a particularly novel or outlandish idea either. From Sophocles to Shakespeare. To be or not to be, is an age old question.

Not that going on about how much you hate children and people who have children all day on the internet, is a particularly healthy hobby, obviously.

A cynic might suggest that it's not a coincidence that congress is paralyzed just as an Iranian proxy launches an attack on Israel, thereby endangering the US-Saudi deal which was about to be finalized. A deal that would significantly damage Iran, China and Russia's interests, would have lowered oil prices (which would also hurt Russia and GOP chances in the coming election). And oh, oops. Everyone's distracted from Ukraine.

But hey, far be it for me to call these people traitors. I'm sure Matt Gaetz is a patriotic paedophile.
