Imagine for a second that the Israeli minister of national security had just claimed Hamas has chemical weapons.
Imagine I then replied with this wikipedia entry:
Would you have replied "Don’t like the message, shoot the messenger."?
none of the non-Arab media appears to be even attempting to point out the false claims he's making.

Did you just falsely claim that no non-Arab media are investigating if it's a false claim?
Original Dutch article cited in the English article above, translated with deepl:
So let's go over your comments here:
Dutch media sources seem to really be burying the lede on the fact that she was killed by an Israeli bombing run. ... that fact at the end
Not a verified fact.
and equivocating it with "According to the Associated Press". ... Most of the headlines just say she died "in an explosion", giving the implication Hamas was responsible.
Not equivocating or implying anything. Engaging in good journalism. They weren't there. They didn't see it with their own eyes. They're simply reporting on what they've been told. IDF says this. Hamas says that. Nothing more. That's just your bias speaking.
If the IDF makes a claim, reporters shouldn't report it as a fact. If Hamas makes a claim, they shouldn't report it as a fact.
the IDF acknowledges that they bombed the refugee camp market on Saturday
Article says the IDF has not yet responded to inquiries. It is as yet unclear in which explosion the victim died.
Population and media are also distracted by the whole Palestine thing, so it's an ideal time to bury news of a screeching u-turn.
I say, let him have this one.
Not as if the west can complain too much, given the Qatar-Hamas relationship thing we choose to ignore.

I find the socratic method sometimes works. You ask them questions and let them argue with themselves.
But as you say, arguing with pigeons will only result in shit in your hair.
I don't think anyone really thinks gif is pronounced 'jif'.
They just pretend they do, to wind people up and for attention.
