Can't find a great screen grab, but Vidna from Legend of Legaia is one of the first towns you find that is unaffected by the mist and the reason is they use their natural hot springs to power fans to keep the mist from settling. You get to wander through the spa area as well before you break the windmills 💀

Even if you can't manage staging something like that, even just asking a friend to help you take some pictures will up your odds significantly. The pictures are going to be the first thing most people see on your profile so having a friend help find good angles and such will be really helpful
I feel like part of this is because of temperature issues. Searing meat or baking ham is probably done at temperatures that will destroy the chemicals you want. As an alternative, if you make cannabutter with properly water cured avb, you can spread it on freshly baked garlic bread which is maybe my favorite homemade edible
It hasn't been the worst on my solo play through, mostly on a group one. There are a variety of issues that are workable, like how you will frequently start combats separated unless your group has the discipline of saints, or how one character will literally never be able to join combat because the terrain is impassable for him and him alone once initiative starts. These things we dealt with, but when combined with hours of lost progress from crashes and desyncs we threw in the towel
Do you have ADHD? The feelings you are describing might be rejection sensitive dysphoria. Learning how to handle those feelings will serve you really well in the future
