It's great when place names flow perfectly into an insult, I dont know jack shit about Des Moines beyond the pronounciation, but reading "some moron from Des Moines" is like a critical hit insult, it sounds like it was meant to be.
If I was one of those families I'd be pissed that they decided to describe me with a symbol used for stuff like kindergarden "you went to sleep at naptime" style awards and other goofy shit like that.
