Theoretically to demonize supporters of palestine and anti-imperialists more broadly, but since the majority of media reactions focus on tiktok as a platform that seems to be the more reasonable objective if it is a psyop, to further demonize tiktok and rally for it being banned.

I think that sometimes dumb people just make you look bad by association.

The reason I think this is that the actual media response has been very tame, articles about this use framing like "some young americans" or "dozens of young americans", if they are doing a psyop then why hold back? Its also not particularly been a talking point among hasbara accounts who otherwise you can pretty obviously see adjusting to current talking points and psyop things.

If it is a psyop for anything its specifically targeting tiktok, which has gotten far more focus as a part of this happening than palestinians or anti-imperialists.

Like yeah theres articles and a white house statement on it but they're trickling out, it looks more like they've seen an opportunity rather than constructed the opportunity to try and blitz people with.

TBh Im mixed on the idea of the OBL thing as a psyop, it seemed to sputter out too quick to actually be any sort of intentional act to smear anyone by association.

Like yeah twitter account got mad about it but its not like I've seen any like big people twitter accounts get mad about it or continually use it as a talking point against Palestinians. That one thing when a bunch of separate small hasbara accounts each started talking about how Israel cannot be settler colonial due to the "lack of a metropole" was a much more obvious sort of psyop where you could sense that there was organization behind it.

Edit: If anything looking through the articles and general media response on this, if it is a psyop it is an anti-tiktok psyop. Near every article focuses mainly on tiktok as a platform that allowed this to happen and what tiktok now is doing to counteract or minimize it. The users who shared and discussed the letter are framed as small accounts or "some/about a dozen young americans."

I think the simplest interpretation is that hes using a dumb colloquial version of "bourgeoise" to just mean bad and/or privileged.

Theres no theoretical basis for calling any sex worker as a member of the bourgeoise unless they of course also have ownership of like a platform or production company. In the most charitable interpretation he is simply a fucking moron and doesnt actually think that way about womens bodies, but of course I dont know him so I could be wrong on that part.

Curious if its a broader autistic sensory thing to not like fabric over your fingers or toes?

I hate just wearing socks, shoes are ok but not only socks, and Ive had to purchase fingerless gloves for the winter cause I cant stand having the fabric over my fingertips.

I forgot the context of what "Little Eichmanns" was used for so when I heard it again I was like, wow thats pretty fucking harsh, idk if I agree with that.

But turns out I was taking the "little" part very literally in terms of age, rather than it being about like the financial arm of western imperialism.

Seeing people interpret naked "Jewish cabal" style antisemitism as "dunking on capitalism" is genuinely concerning though, even if as a joke.

Hopefully there are marxist figures who can provide an actual leftist fact check and explanation of the letters accuracies as well as its bigotry.

Is it just me or have apps been enshittified with just never keeping anything loaded?

Feels like so many apps I have just reload like everything when you click in and out of a submenu or tab out of them. I have a travel app for public transit that will reload and entirely erase my searches so if I search for a train schedule, then tab out and 30 minutes later wanna review the schedule to make sure, it has erased all of that and makes me search for it all over?

Like reddit and twitter does this shit to, reset to the top of a page if you enter and exit a post or tweet.

Guardian taking down the Bin Laden letter seems like just such obvious propagandist incompetence that Im wondering like who the fuck they have working there making these decisions.

Like on just the fundamental level, if the issue is individual tiktokers with a large reach creating a narrative around Bin Laden that is overly clean due to only focusing on the rational justifications for attacking America, removing the letter will not stop that. You've only made it so random people can't read the parts where he says that Jews control western economy because of usury, or how its wrong that America makes its own laws instead of following the law of god, which to an average person would be discrediting the other arguments by association.

And the thing is that almost every argument he makes such as the 1.5 million Iraqi children dead from sanctions, already has a readymade western "debunking" or dismissal, they could have fact checked Bin Laden, make his reasoning bunk by saying that he is lying about all the atrocities so therefore there is nothing for American voters to be held accountable for. Except now you've made the narrative that you are threatened by what the letter says, and if you fact check it now its like, ok you're still scared and trying to suppress it.

Like this just seems like it wouldnt be that advanced to consider and think about? Its just very basic stuff that Im saying IMO.

The IDF's top propagandists use the same tactics as that guy who went to Palestine rallies in the US, googled "swastika" on his phone then pointed it towards any cameras in the vicinity.
