But on the topic of the torment nexus, if someone tells you ready player one was a cautionary tale or whatever they are dumb or lying, that shit worships IP masturbation so incredibly hard, the whole plot is about making the metaverse cool and awesome by taking it away from centralized corporations(in a dumb crypto guy way.)
Huldra
Its just dumb regardless of torment nexus status, people explore their favorite stories by consuming those stories in their intended form, and if they "explore their favorite IPs" then they are a hog, but hog status aside they usually also consume it in the form of actual media or physical spaces like a theme park or whatever.
Physicality matters! People don't generally actually like things that attempt to reproduce the experience and limitations of physical space without being actually physical, if it's not real then it should just be a website.
Luckily for now its still a relatively rare letter so I can either just copy paste it or hack together a keybind for it.
As a followup to previous keyboard problems, my x key has now ceased working altogether, its a scissor switch and taking it apart nothing seems like its visibly the issue, from what I can gather the only real solution for a laptop keyboard like this if the dome or whatever itself is busted, is to just replace the whole thing altogether.
That sounds really stupid to me so I would prefer to just make like a shortcut for that key and adjust to it. Would autohotkey be the best way to do something like that? I was thinking just making like a shortcut each for small and capital x on the nearby keys, fn + z or something.
The "X" key on my laptop keyboard has decided to periodically stop working, sometimes I can sort of just push it down for a really long time and it will start working again, other times it just doesnt wanna work for ages.
Googling this shit is fucking useless cause google automatically includes results for the whole keyboard, does anyone know anything about dealing with just one key on one of those soft switch laptop keyboards not working? Ive removed and cleaned the key itself and there doesnt appear to be a mechanical obstruction, but the soft switch itself feels maybe a little hardened?
Its good to be sceptical, but just because one person tells a lie, doesn't make that statement universally a lie.
Nazi neolibs are not speaking in good faith.
Probably a sign that its bedtime when my brain starts getting enamoured with ideas like "I should start a post punk band called The Revisionists."
NaissanceE is great, extremely cool game to go through.
Though Ive permanently associated certain parts of that game with the podcast episodes I was listening to on my first playthrough.
Idk if its a silly way to put it but it almost feels sacrificial in a way and thats to me what gives it gravitas.
Hey, Defunctland made it on there, nice.
That being said, I maintain that I dont think the Hbomb video actually is a very good video essay at all, its just that the content/research itself is good, and the purpose behind it also very good.
Damn I got a book to try and learn sight reading notation for guitar and this shit is hard, I don't think I have metaphorically felt my brain churn like this ever.
Edit: Just figured out I dont have to give a single thought to sharps or flats unless theres a symbol for them somewhere, the gears keep on churning
None of the anti-censorship people would want to return to the old days of anime cause nudity is more likely to be a cheeky punchline back then compared to literally and metaphorically trying to edge as close to softcore porn as possible.
