Nicht vom BGH speziell. Aber in Deutschland werden so manche Urteile gesprochen, dass man meint die Richter könnten gerade so mit einem Faxgerät umgehen.

Ich kaufe zu 99% aus dem Zubehör, aber wie du sagst auch nur von namhaften Herstellern. Viele haben auch noch holographische Siegel auf der Packung, da kann man sich dann recht sicher sein. Einmal hatte ich in einem anderen Shop zwei Querlenker bestellt die verdächtig günstig, aber von einer bekannten Marke waren. Als die dann ankamen, sah das Logo auf der Packung schon irgendwie komisch aus und beim Auspacken habe ich dann gesehen, dass die Gewinde am Lenker mitlackiert waren. Ging direkt zurück.

Fingers crossed for you, just make sure the ground is tightly attached. It shouldn't be able to move at all when you pull on the cable.

I've had a similar thing happen when the negative terminal was not attached tight enough, exact same symptoms. Since you've been working on the terminal, I'm gonna assume that it's the issue here. The lights, radio and heater don't nearly have the power draw that the starter does. Most likely the click you're hearing is the starter relay, but there's not enough of a connection to turn the engine over or engage the starter itself. I'd bet the battery itself is fine.

Same thing with China and the UAE as well. The "deal" is not worth the paper it is printed on, it's merely a band-aid to get down from the 30% tariff ASAP.
