This is not correct, our police in Finland is trusted by people and not corrupt.

How you get there:

1. hold police accountable (e.g. every time police fires their firearm, there is investigation that was it necessary)

2. require higher education (getting to police requires 3 years bachelor degree)

3. teach them de-escalation instead of force

4. have police always patrol in pairs (if police is alone, their gun is their partner)

5. pay them enough

In Finland gambling/slot machines/betting is monopoly from state and it is not allowed to be advertised. It is age controlled and all the money from the gambling go to charity/tax, and gambling addiction control.

I take little bit of issue having south part of Finland having swedish there.

Edit: ok, the projection is bit funky here, that is not southern Finland (Uusimaa), but south west Finland (Varsinais-Suomi) which is conquered by Swedish Finns

Note that pretty much every other country than US in this list, the USD amount is how much the country pays per person in healthcare. Universal healthcare, baby.

So in Finland my healthcare has cost me roughly $10/year.

In countries that do not exploit workers, if the doctor writes you a sick leave, you are at sick leave for that time. If doctor writes you 6 months, you can be away 6 months with full pay. In general company pays some initial weeks, and the system pays the rest.

So there is no max or min.

Also in many countries if you are in your paid vacation, and you get sick, you move for sick leave, and those days do not count as used vacation.
