If there isn't a machine to do it then maybe there's a quick product fix, or we get contractors. For a manual labour intensive industry it's amazing to see the lengths a lot of men will go to to avoid actual manual tasks.

Anytime you want to try it with a bath towel you might realise she's right. The only thing creating a problem is when it falls off.

Would braiding clay like that do the opposite of giving it strength? Normally braiding works, but pottery is brittle, so I would expect each strand to have more brittle connections.
