I just enabled developer mode on my LG oled and installed the homebrew channel, it has a YouTube app with no ads

I see this as a good thing!

The more Microsoft adds adware, surveys, and shitty requirements like tpm, the more people get finally fed up with Microsoft's bullshit and finally switch to linux!

Same setup, android Firefox with ublock and it wasn't working Reader mode worked though

Personally I just use Redirector because all the add-ons specific for invidious are either broken or set to instances that are dead!

Have you tried proton 7.0-5? There was another mint user that got it working on protondb 9months ago

It's always really interesting seeing how people can have completely different experiences with kde and gnome!

I have had nothing but a great experience with kde for years but every time I've tried gnome it's always been a buggy experience!
