destiny being a darling of the internet left for a hot minute after he outed jontron as a white supremacist was genuinely an isolating moment. dude loved him some ableist slurs, and instead of reflecting on it like the thoughtful guy he presented himself as he instead brought on some random autistic woman to "debate" why it's ok for him to say the R slur.
hearing praise for the guy while he made autistics his punching bag was awful. being told that even the most tolerant and accepting people still don't care about you, that the people who don't use any slurs still use you as a "woke" substitute, it made me realise the need for a specifically autistic left. it wasn't until destiny finally got tempbanned for his use of slurs that people became actually critical of him, but it took a while for left spaces online to actually stop calling everything disliked autistic.

Don't know which one you're talking about but some of these end up unintentionally funny for how little it takes to be damned in Chick's theology. Even for games, you can restore files from quarantine. Games are where someone that isn't tech literate will end up running something that'll fuck up their computer, and if they're unsure whether their torrent client is safe to exclude I'm worried about exempting any torrents. Def agree that Defender is fine these days.
qbittorrent itself isn't malware so if it's somehow tripping malwarebytes that kind of speaks to its quality. you can add it but i wouldn't be paying money for malwarebytes active protection. the shit you're torrenting you should absolutely keep letting your AV scan, you can pull stuff back out of quarantine if needed but that's a last line of defense if you downloaded something bad. a lot of AV's will flagP2P traffic because torrenting shit is how people download malware.
what you should have if you're pirating shit is at least a VPN. i trust mullvad, some gamers™ don't like it now that it lost port forwarding but given the rationale i'm not sure i entirely trust companies that aren't going to soon follow suit or aren't lying about not logging IP's. more important than speed (and if you're just torrenting right on your desktop computer then it's not going to be that big a deal) is a guarantee you're not going to be snitched out. the speeds with the nicer VPN's is fast enough to max out my gigabyte connection and i'm not currently using a seedbox.

In particular, that pretty Christian white lady the IDF murdered got a ton of attention because of obvious reasons, she was a reporter and that's liked baiting even the MSM to cover her death when htey don't give a shit about random Palestinians dying. It may be that a lot of pro-Palestine people aren't terminally online leftists who can immediately articulate the exact history of hte conflict, but my bet is that most people became sympathetic before the attacks and the outright genocide has forced them to overtly take a side in the matter.
Starting with someone's dotfiles is a much better way to start with these minimalist window managers. You can see what they did and only tweak the the things you want to work different. Still not as easy as a DE's unified settings, but if you like that fine grained control it can be worthwhile. My setup is quite basic, but having everything bound to the keys I want lets me do what I want quickly.
