Masturbating is healthy, so who told you otherwise?

It gets problematic when you have health issues or social problems due to porn or if you neglect other parts of your life.

It's a way healthier addiction than a drug addiction though. Smoking, drinking, substance abuse in general are more harmful to your body. Even if you drink just one glass of wine every month it will probably be more harmful in the long run than masturbation.

Guss we'll have to resort to digital watermarking with personal certificates then.

I apparently scaled a parking garage, climbed in at the third story and peed against a car when my concerned friends came to get me. I have no recollection of the actual climbing or peeing. This was back when I was about 16 years old and just old enough to be drinking lots and lots of beer...

Oh and I ate a full bowl of 'mon cheri' chocolates while watching TV when I was about 4 or 5 years old which made me very very drunk, when my parents went skiing while thinking I was asleep.

It still requires being in range of a (network of) wireless transmitter(s). I'd have written 'without mobile networks' or 'cellular networks' or 'data connection' or 'IP networks' as it's a broadcast and not a two-way communication.

Sure, it's nitpicking and they're technically correct but it's also imprecise wording. It's still wireless transmissions and not magic.

Syncthing for synchronisation and any of https://github.com/meichthys/foss_photo_libraries for the gallery.

Ironic. It's as if Microsoft departments aren't even aware of each other.

live broadcasts of video without requiring wireless networks.

Do the writers know what a broadcast is and what wireless means?

they aren’t wrong about Macs handling RAM more efficiently.

More efficiently than what other system? How did you come to that conclusion? If you open tabs in your browser, do you think MacOS will allow you to open more tabs than other operating systems?

that still means datacenter someplace

no, you can also self host on your personal computer and simply mirror everything that you're throwing on Codeberg.

[–] Helix@feddit.de 4 points 2 years ago

Codeberg is a nonprofit with no ulterior motives.

Well, their ulterior motive is to provide a service to the public.

[–] Helix@feddit.de 1 points 2 years ago (1 children)

so in fact, you basically can make new rules as you like in terms of service. There are boundaries what is okay and what isn't, but companies try to break those boundaries time and time again.

On the original people would associate social stances with economic ones.

However, economy is a social construct, so isn't it completely OK to associate social stances with economic ones? If you believe that all people are equal and then say billionaires be billionaires, this is a contradiction.
