The entire lawsuit was a bribe to trump. Obviously bullshit lawsuits like that are made to be settled out of court. That way you can disguise the bribe as an out of court settlement payment.

Fascism doesn't voluntarily give up power. There's no way that scandal brings down the regime. They didn't install tech bros as officers in the military because they intend to respect the will of the electorate.
