I'm surprised there's no Lemmy/Kbin version of it yet. I'm missing it :(

Holy actual shit.

Well, at least that's a perfect excuse for early drinks?

Hilariously, neither of these work on Kbin either (probably because Kbin uses m instead of c).

Absolutely not. I can't even use Reddit beyond the 1st, they're killing the apps I'd use and the official one is a migraine trigger.

All we can do is keep pointing everyone here.

Hundred percent! Got myself a club bar from mum's latest deposit of Random English Snacks at my house so I am VIBING.

Snuck home at lunch to avoid pub time at work. Cosy in PJs with some popcorn and my housemate playing ff16.

Man, I wish we didn't have to go into office.

Yeah, if you click on my username you'll notice it's something like @hanhula because I'm accessing this thread through Kbin. Unlike Reddit and Twitter, which are centralised on one site, the fediverse is more like your email. We can all access the same posts and comment on them as if I'm on Facebook and you're on Twitter, just like how you can email me from Hotmail even though I use Gmail.

I'm personally using kbin because it's a more reddit-like vibe visuals-wise, but there's really no downside to using whichever instance you like.

We've been dating 8 years online (thanks, Covid, for making it way more of a task...) and had very little in-person time, so we're holding off on marriage until we've had more time together in-person (four months IRL together so far) just in case we end up really not vibing offline. Would rather not go through a divorce if it doesn't work out!

Thank ye! We've already got our relationship registered with the gov - doesn't need to be marriage yet! Got to be in Australia to start the partner visa process and have him be able to stay, so it's going to be easier like this. Partner visa shouldn't be too bad!

My partner got his working holiday visa! Now he can get back over here and we can start working on our partner visa next ♥
