They work pretty well, here is one I use often for work: https://www.experte.com/internet-censorship/china

Seems lemmy.world not blocked now:

I’m actually in China so I’ll turn my VPN off to see if it’s accurate:

Yeah seems unblocked in China:

Ok but his dad is sending them to hell and Jesus isn’t stopping him.

I’m surprised your general, common and sober crypto takes get downvoted on Lemmy. I’m personally “done” with crypto (I made a lot and got it before the crypto winter) but your takes are correct.

Aye I entered the thread to say the same. Yes we know for fuck’s sake, it’s terrible, it’s all terrible!

Wow that’s quite an awesome view.

You have good ideas on the topic, very intriguing. I have a unique idea in the works that would parallel this and involves the fediverse, I’ll share it soon :-)

I’m sure you know about browser extensions like Dark Reader that can force websites to be dark mode. ( I wish it could work beyond the browser as well )

I love using Kagi, recommend it highly.

I don’t know why everyone downvoted you, you’re right.

I just saw some content from them for the first time yesterday, and didn’t know how I hadn’t seen them earlier. The mission sounds great, but on one hand they seemed a little self important but maybe there’s no avoiding that? Anyhow I like the concept but looking for takes on how effective they are.

It’s a liberal reform movement for Europe fyi: https://diem25.org/en/

I need one or two more “filler” gifts for the wife, but all done on the big item and all stuff for the kid. Stayed in budget (I think, am nervous to check balances). Even got some nice gifts for the neighbor kid friend who might be around. (They don’t naturally do Christmas, am in China). Feels good, some years it’s a pain.
