Everything is just congealed soup when you really think about it.
By that definition, all other sandwiches are open faced unless sealed on every side.

I'm so annoyed at the timing of this, I'm in a place far enough north to get decent views of it in winter (but it is always cloudy). Right now we don't get full night so at 1am, the peak of darkness, it wasn't super visible.
