For those uninformed like me who also want this history.

Actually if we could get videos of proper police action in other countries to go viral in the US, maybe we could start a conversation in the US.

The outlawing of porn is part of project 2025

This is what happens when you hire a bunch of sycophants, they are completely incapable of free intelligent thought. Everyone of them spends their days trying to say and do what will make dear leader happiest.

Too bad Washington Thinskins would be a worse name than the commanders

This is a compounded loss beyond what you described. 3 Billion spent on very localized projects. That's likely 1 billion in wages paid to workers. That is money that would be spent on other areas of the local economies.

This is actually trickle down economics that works. Spend billions hiring tens of thousands of workers and they will boost the economy they work and live in.

But what about Tiffany

Five occasions, I forgot one but to be fair, so does he.

Well played.

Game of chicken. If they don't settle, Trump will pull out before he can be deposed. Of course there is a greater than zero chance that he is so far gone he doesn't actually remember his little love letter.

In many ways democracy is a lie. You still have a system of government that puts a handful of people in fairly powerful positions. These people will always do what is needed to keep the power they have.

For centuries democracy has focused on the elites. They have done a good job of keeping participation low and therefore creating an under informed population. Commonly in the US, you'll hear phrases like "It doesn't matter who I vote for." "My vote doesn't count." "They're all the same."

When you have a voting populace who has regularly not participated and talk with authority to them, you can get them to buy whatever you're selling.

Original Xitter post

Article referenced in the letter WRT possible cloud seeding

The law is real and stupid and not based on science. The letter is even dumber. And no, cloud seeding did not cause the floods.

Who fucking cares? What is it going to do really? There has been so much publicity of their relationship, it doesn't change anything. Will it result in charges against Trump? Unlikely, the only one I know of who was willing to put herself and her family at risk, is dead (suicide).

His supporters will find a way to excuse anything away. There could be a picture of Trump assaulting a young teen and they would just say it's not his fault she looked older than she was.

To those in this thread saying anything released shouldn't be redacted, remember there were victims, this wasn't just Jeff and Don having a brobait with each other.

I'm sick of the Democrats and their shitty platitudes, because that's all this is. Demand compassion and due process for the millions being terrified by federally protected kidnappers. Demand that Republicans meet to discuss the phasing out of some of the TPS rules (temporary is in the name and just because there is an EO doesn't mean there can't be a law that changes it). Demand that we stop defending the atrocities of megalomaniacs around the world. Demand that the legislative branch takes back the power of the purse and writes laws to affect trade.

Might be the only time I agree with the ball of congealed Cheeto vomit, but why the fuck are we still talking about Epstein?

  • Most tipped workers already don't pay federal taxes.
  • Increasing the tipped minimum would do more.

Edit: really there should be no minimum lower than the hourly minimum.

“Those people . . . ” Donald said, trailing off. “The shape they’re in, all the expenses, maybe those kinds of people should just die.”

“I don’t know,” he finally said, letting out a sigh. “He doesn’t recognize you. Maybe you should just let him die and move down to Florida.”

Wait! What did he just say? That my son doesn’t recognize me? That I should just let him die?

Did he really just say that? That I should let my son die . . . so I could move down to Florida

The parties used to work together, it was unthinkable to not compromise for their constituents. Today we hear politicians talk as if it would be treason to work with members from the other side.

There is no both sides in this either. One side wants to govern alone to their own interests, not those of their constituents.
