I'd think Cardassians would think it's silly going about "proving" who did the crime and "collecting evidence" when you've already decided who the criminal is and can easily manufacture the required evidence. If they did find it interesting, they would probably see it as a comedy of the absurd.

Two other things happened over the last 40 years. Government housing programs were massively scaled back, and our population went from 24.5M to 39.1M.
We may be building a lot of housing, but we aren't building enough.
Once you've demonstrated that you can't be trusted, the public start to think: "Maybe the right isn't all that bad. It can't get much worse than this."
You failed to include the next step. Once those right-wing populists get elected, the electorate discovers that things can indeed get much worse than this.
Well, if you don't consider your spouse to be family, then I suppose you shouldn't ever fuck your family. If you do consider your spouse to be family then, first, it's the only family you should literally fuck, and second, that is how you get more family.
Trump must be really jealous of Musk. More money, more kids, from more women, better hair surgery, younger. It must be really hard for him to sit there and tell himself that he's the better person.
Good.
The harmful gas in question is methane, in case you were wondering (and didn't notice it in the link).
That sucks.
It's not an overly complex idea, and it's derived from a short story. It's worth a read, won't take much time and is available online.

I wonder if he'll say how unethical that would be, unlike when Harper did it (when he was an MP).
Also, he wrote an essay about the importance of personal freedom, and advocated for two term limits for members of Parliament (as well as pledging to only serve two terms if he was ever elected). So why are trans people not allowed to have personal freedom, and how many terms has he served?
The only things I'd say in response to this is: there is good evidence that China's EVs are subsidized, meaning it would not put our manufacturers on a level playing field without tariffs; and if you believe Chinese EVs aren't going to be as laden with spyware as their smartphones or their 5G technology, then I'm not sure what to say.
Your concerns are legitimate, but I don't think this is the correct solution.
