It is well known that a number of states sow division in the populace of their enemies to weaken them. Does polarizing hot button issues do that? History says it does.

Does Palestine matter to them? No. Does polarizing the populace of the enemy matter to them? Yes. Are either of the organizations linked above tools of states that would like to harm America? I don't know. Could they, or similar organizations be used that way? Sure.

Forest for the trees, here. Oops, I'm sorry, the guy isn't 1600 miles away, maybe it's 1800 miles, maybe it's only 1500, but what it is is a whole fucking long way to go to kill people because you don't like what they look like.

This isn't about Arizonans, or whatever you call people who live in Arizona, it's about a guy who lives a long way from Atlanta who wants to kill black people enough to want to go that far to do it. It certainly isn't unique to that county, or that city in that county, and it is pretty fucked up.

Didn't we just get over the coin mining hype? I'm not too confident there won't be another big thing to keep this going...

Yeah, I get what you're saying and you absolutely shouldn't have to put up with stuff you're not okay with. That's the whole difficulty of free speech. You may have a right to be an asshole, but I have a right to not listen to assholes. And some of these places definitely have a lot of assholes, and do nothing to rein them in, then act surprised when no one wants to be associated with their space.

Disclaimer: I too can be an asshole at times, and I totally understand if people want to block me. That's the joy of freedom.

Kids these days! Back in my day we stacked the corpses high enough to have gravity squeeze the juices out!

Yeah, I don't feel a need to block people who are behaving badly around me. Perhaps I would if I had been inundated like you were. That said, I fully support you, me, or anyone else doing what they have to to maintain perspective and mental health, and I'm glad there are tools to facilitate that even if I never feel the need to use them.

"There's this flaw with capitalism."

"No no, it's a feature!"

We have plenty of examples of this.

No Man's Sky came out to much fanfare, and was kind of shit. They took their massive profits (of which a significant chunk went to distributors, publishers, etc., just like back when physical copies were the norm) and used them to transform their initial offering into something that was far more like their vision than the original product.

Minecraft also followed this paradigm for a very long time.

Now, how many very successful game developers just took the money and ran? A lot? Yeah, a lot. The simple fact is not many companies are willing to spend already-earned profits for a fraction more sales.

Here's your proposal in a nutshell. "Can we have the rich and powerful impose laws on the rich and powerful to reduce the benefits that will have for their children?" And even if we could do that, you completely ignore the option of them just hiring tutors to train their kids (which is already done by some).

Not saying your goals are bad, perhaps a little misguided, and rely on the people that would be negatively impacted (by their perception) to make it happen.

No definition I've ever heard requires an exodus to be initiated by the people leaving. Also, if you read the comment that started all this, I was explicit that I didn't mean employee-led. So thanks for stopping by weeks later to display your ignorance and/or lack of reading comprehension.

the bidet temporarily connects my butthole

with a near infinite series of tubes

containing pure water and in that moment

I am the clean water and the clean water is me

That's some wild poetry there.

This sounds like something you could fix with practice. Maybe try reading books out loud. People with pleasant voices can also make audio books, although I don't know how much they pay.
