Stupider foreign policy alignment with U.S against Soviet Union

I mean, the US wasn’t gonna just build up the productive forces for China without getting anything in return beyond just cheap exports. Literally a deal with the devil. China taking the US side in everything wasn’t just some accident. It was the part of the cost of doing business with the US.

It’s like, when we talk about AES states taking China’s lead and trying to do Dengism, we forget that no communist country is probably ever getting that deal again.

I will take a genuinely anti-war lib over some social fascist like AOC every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Obviously Biden wants to do this, but he’s signing on this specifically because in exchange he’s getting all the money he wants for Ukraine and Israel.

Claudia de la Cruz seems very based, though.

Yeah idk, something seems off about this data. The UK results are especially weird, I’m not ready to just accept these results. It’s also trying harmonize results from different polls. Might be a broad trend in the US of young women becoming more liberal faster but the idea that young men are more conservative than they were years ago, not sure about that.

This too conveniently falls into reactionary narratives about women.

If Trump is such an existential threat, you would think the Dems would be doing everything in their power to court the votes of the left.

If white people were crossing the border in from Canada to work in low-wage jobs, you would not hear a peep from chuds, tells you all you need to know.

Succession of any major state is an existential threat to US hegemony - both in terms of dollar and military supremacy. Capital (certainly finance capital) will absolutely not allow it, though I think you’d be more likely to see Texas get the Cuba treatment than any actual military operation.
