To say they would do nothing at all was probably an exaggeration on my part. When you’re an American, and you have grown up seeing how little your fellow Americans care about deaths in places like Iraq and Gaza, it’s hard not to become cynical.

My first reaction was to say that, despite it being an incredibly bitterly pill to swallow, the coldly rational choice is to do nothing.
I’ve been trying to work out how this isn’t the case, but so far haven’t figured it out. To do nothing is so unsatisfying. It’s exactly the kind of response someone like Gorbachev would have. But ending all life on earth, if that is the outcome, closes all doors. If you are ending humanity, then the nuclear response is ultimately pointless revenge. I suppose if you relax that assumption some - that there’s still a remnant of humanity that carries on - then I might agree with what zed says about how you are just leaving humanity in horrible position if you don’t respond. Where the US acts with impunity and starts dropping nukes like the US imposes sanctions today. Because if we’re talking about actual Americans… there’s no way most Americans will even flinch at killing hundreds of millions of people they think “deserved it”. This will not lead to some mea culpa on the part of America where they decide to build a better world and are ashamed of what they did.
It’s a fun thought exercise though, for sure.
As absolutely unhinged as a lot of these Israeli settlers sound, they are verbatim what white settlers in North America said when they were stealing land.
Like, saying the US Army was too soft on the indigenous people. Or absolutely losing their minds over the government putting even the most mild “look we’re gonna genocide them and take their land, but you just have to be a little patient” type rules in place. They felt as entitled to the land as Israeli settlers do.
And it’s all relative, it’s still almost 2 out of every 5 Germans who have negative attitudes (openly)
From the Resistance News Network:
🚨 The sounds of explosions are still heard in Aleppo, Syria, as the IOF launches what local sources are calling the most violent IOF attack on Syria in recent history.
US-aligned terrorist organizations in Idlib exploited the zionist attack and coordinated the launch of several batches of drones with the zionist aggression in order to confuse the Syrian air defense systems.
But will vaccinated people be allowed on the ship?
Yeah, we’ve got to extend our hand in love and friendship for people being vaccinated despite the side effects. We have to look after them. And they’re all good people. We’re all the same really, like white, green, yellow, whatever it is — to embrace each other.
These anti-vax people are really living in their own little worlds, aren’t they? They genuinely believe anyone who got the vax is walking around like a plague rat. And white folks - even those who aren’t billionaires, have the privilege of being able to create their own little insane realities.
This gets to something you said in your recent press conference, which is that the Titanic reflects traditional values instead of “woke” values. So can you explain what that means?
There’s been a concept in society that you can cancel people. I think you know what I mean by “canceled” people, and we think that’s a terrible concept. The United States was founded on the rights of men to be different. The diversity that we’ve had in our economy, in our intellectual development has really meant that’s developed our society to a higher level. I’m talking about Western society in general. So the French Revolution, the American Revolution, all those things were brought about by individuals [claiming] their rights to express an opinion or view. I mean, you should have the right to be wrong.
In case you’re not familiar with coded whitey speak, this all sounds like gibberish because he can’t say the real reason, which is that he just wants to try and go back to a time where non-white people were just barely visible in the background of white peoples lives, and they were never put in a place power or prominence.
When you grow up white in America, there’s so much that you have to deprogram from your brain before you can even move left. I had some really shitty views as a kid and I know I held to those just because it was coconut tree in which I fell out of. And beyond that, so much of society is geared towards privileging whiteness, you have to actively work to break out of it.
That said, I am grateful for people in my life who have called me out of stuff and have helped me be better. This is a reminder to all the white folks, if you get called out on something… apologize, understand - actually understand - where you went wrong, and be better.
Would love to see Lula and Boric immediately follow suit.
(Boric sucks but it appears the large Palestinian population in Chile has put him in a position to be not terrible in this area).
The bridge was opened in 1977. I believe loaded cargo ships have gotten much more massive since then. Does that mean the bridge could withstand getting hit by a standard 70s cargo ship? I don’t know. That doesn’t invalidate the point that a cargo ship that size should be crossing it - but these massive container ships are what drive global capitalism. No surprise that they would disregard safety for profit here.
I wish I could believe in karma, because America deserves far, far, FAR more than this.
There’s also the fact that white nationalists and Zionists both work from the position of exalting the ethnostate as a legitimate form of a nation. There are quite a few white nationalists who may be anti-Semitic but are more than happy to support the existence of Israel because it validates their desire for white ethnostates.
I don’t think the concern is the seeds themselves, but rather that in the process of turning them into oil and cooking at high temps it changes the molecular structure in ways that are not good.
I don’t know, I started looking into all this years ago before it got completely overtaken by chuds. It sucks because now I’m skeptical of any research that comes out about it because the space has become so chuddy. But back in the day I just swapped out cooking with vegetable oil for like, coconut oil and olive oil in some cases, not really a big deal. I don’t think it’s the sort of thing that anyone should panic over or change their diet if they don’t like it. But tbh drastically reducing how much seed oil I ingest was such a small change to my life I was just kinda like sure, ok, whatever.
